  Great food, sourced locally. Had shrimp salad one night, then fish and chips the next. Seafood chowder is quite unique and tasty. Couldn't finish everything the 2nd night. Definitely the place to eat in La Pocatiere.

  This place was such a cozy and beautiful café! The food was extremely fresh and I think the jam was homemade! I had eggs, sausage, toast, strawberries, and potatoes. Perfectly made!
  
  I don't know much French yet since I'm at the beginner level and the waitress was very kind to me and spoke English when I couldn't understand her. I really appreciated that! The servers created a nice, warm atmosphere :) This cafe was a relaxing change from the busy city!
  
  We had a lovely time eating here during a rest stop on our road trip to New Brunswick and PEI and enjoyed how sweet the servers were to us. Definitely check out Café Azimut if you visit this beautiful town :)

  We stopped by this little town on our way from New Brunswick to Quebec City. We found this cafe "downtown", and it has a nice, warm ambiance. The customers are all French, and it has a good local feel. The waitress speaks a little bit of English. And the music was even English until ten minutes after we arrived (became all French after that).
  
  Unfortunately, the good stops there. We ordered a vegetarian pasta and a prosciutto pizza. The pasta was okay but the pizza was way too salty, the thin crust wasn't crispy, and the prosciutto has a disgusting brown colour, instead of the usual pink red. We didn't bother to complain since...
  
  Our service was "work-to-rule" from beginning till the end. We were pleasant customers, but while other guests enjoyed prompt service, bread before meal, frequent attention, and even desert selection from a large plate, we got nothing but the plate we ordered. Guests who came after us got food at the same time. Our water pots for our tea sat empty forever, in plain view, and no one paid attention. Not once were we asked how we were doing. In fact, the waitress walked by many times serving other tables, and basically made a point of not looking at ours. I called her several times, and had to finally raise my voice to get her attention.
  
  We were in no mood to get dessert. We asked for the bill and that came quickly enough. But the waitress then proceeded to engage in a long conversation with a young man at the bar, all the while not bothering to turn her head once. After a while of that another patron got fed up and walked up to the bar to pay for his food. We followed suite. We were so dissatisfied that, for the second time in our extensive dining history, we gave them no tips.
